Hello.

Been awhile since I posted. I'll keep it short though, I have a business project due by 11.

Cousins gave me some cash to buy some new kicks! (Thanks JP for introducing me to that word, that one fateful day).

I love the smell and feel of new shoes, so I figured I'd post some pics. Sick concept too, they're based on the original SF MUNI bus seats (with the swoosh the same color as the rails on the seats) (I don't buy shoes for heat or whatever, I buy shoes for cool concepts/colorways... I feel like if you buy shoes based on hype or whatever... its like you're buying em for other people and their biased opinions =D)

Nike SB Lows (thin tongue)
Dubbed "MUNI"

Oh I also forgot to meant to post about the Atomic Red sb lows I got likeeee I dunno when.
Got some cheap nike sb socks too haha.

Herrrrrowwww.

Sup playa playas.

Bad company 2 dropped today. Even though I have a big accounting exam tomorrow, I couldn't stop playing. It's THE definition of a war shooter, I don't care what people say. You definitely feel like you're fighting in a giant battle. There was a midnight release last night, I was hoping for a launch party... but oh well. I bought mine today, wanted to do it on the down low haha.

HAPPY MARCH. I'm going to be mad broke after this month with everything going down. Whatever yo, it's mostly for other people yet again.

rubik's cube

hi guys, angelo here. so, I recently started just playing around with the rubik's cube, and no, I'm not as pro as the other people out there. i just do it for fun. But I was looking at rubik's cube, and this picture caught my eye. I really want this now, especially to put it in my car dashboard like the bottom right picture. Totally down down. But yeah, I should really get back to homework. Sigh, I just wanted to share this cool find. :) Alright, peace. 'Til next time.

Sup 4 Day Weekend?

Food kept distracting me from doing accounting homework. D=

So I guess Skyline/CSM has tomorrow off. Lincoln's birthday I think, I don't ever remember a celebrating that holiday. I didn't even know it was a holiday haha. Whatever though, I'm only missing one morning class anyway. Didn't even start to celebrate yet, fell asleep today for 4 hours when I got home. Have a bunch of work to do too, like for JbP and regular old homework. All good though.

Today I was at the Math Lab at CSM and I was feeling rebelious. Or maybe you could just say undeniably bored.

Oh, and guess who I saw at school! Guess he's taking classes on the d/l.

Til next time. I'm off to pump some iron and be productive.

Best Buy, Colma. Foolish Incompetence.

So I went to Best Buy to buy some stuff with a giftcard I got for Secret Santa (shout out to Thomas Yun! =DD). I reserved pokemon and got some imported figurine as a bonus. Also bought some new screen protectors, so I can tap the touch screen with my finger. All in all, the total came up to be around $10.

Got in a long ass line for the register, only to be greeted by some ghetto Filipino. I wouldn't really care so much if the following didn't happen. First, I asked him for information on the rewards program because there's supposed to be some sort of bonus for the purchases I was about to make. He looked clueless and frantically looked through a catalog, only for me to point it out for him. He tried to act cool and pretend to know what he was doing, but he failed. He sort of had this annoyed attitude with me, maybe it was because I asked something he didn't know about. He forgot to scan the screen protectors and I made a joke to ease the situation. He gave me a shady smirk.

Here's the kicker: after sliding my gift card, he tosses it to the side of the register. He quickly handed me the receipt and gave me a fake smile. "Have a great day," he remarked. Now I don't know about you guys, but usually the employee is supposed to offer the giftcard back to you (even if there's a zero balance). I'm pretty sure they wouldn't just casually toss it to the side, they would at least insert it in the cash register. [I double checked all of this with customer service at Best Buy, so I'm not just pulling it out of the air]. I stared back and said, "Dude, my giftcard still has cash. Let me have it." He gave me one of the worst acting routines I've ever seen: "Oh, really?," He said. He scanned my card after "finding" it and said, "Oh yeah."

Real Slick Bro.

I had to double check if he gave me back my real gift card at another register. Just to be safe, I also called customer support and asked if a person could steal my balance with just the pin number. Story's not over. The next day, I realized he double scanned the Screen Protectors. I didn't even get my reservation ticket; I would've lost $5 and my reservation. Had I not been on the ball and checked my receipt, I wouldn't have even seen this. So I had to waste gas and drive all the way back to Best Buy. I sorted it out with customer service and submiting a formal complaint online. I was assured justice would be served. I don't have the dude's name, but I have his employee number. I drew a picture so you guys could be wary. Guy tries to jack me, AND causes me hella trouble. I yelped their asses, and I hope that guy gets fired. Those are the type of stereotypical public school kids that make me embarrassed to be Filipino. I like how they treat their loyal customers (I've put in a lot of cash over the years, specifically that branch too); its insulting. Last time I'll be buying from there.

Hello, middle of the week.

I have an epic blog entry to post, but its getting late and I'm exhausted. So I'll quench your thirst for the mean time. I'll save the bigger post for tomorrow or something.

Today I saw a bunch of construction workers at CSM all lined up eating lunches. I thought that only happened in movies and such. At the time I thought it was funny, but now that I think about it... people probably thought it was funny that I was just standing there taking a picture of them.

Laugh at my lameness.

When i got to Skyline, I drove around for like 30-45 minutes looking for parking. I thought it'd clear up by now psssssshhuu. Finally found parking in this random ass parking lot in like the freaking mountains I swear. Didn't know skyline decorated their signs for Valentine's though.

I got to the library because I had a free period. Got super bored and sat down at a random table and started taking pictures of people when they weren't looking. Score.

Siopao!

Last night Nigel, Marc, and I went to Ma Mon Luk in South City for some siopao. This spot was one I've been going to since I was a kid. I keep coming back because of their cheap prices, its like $3 at most for a siopao; a siopao is a steamed bun with either pork or chicken inside (I think there's an egg inside too).

It's popular in the Philippines. You're supposed to put this sweet sauce inside. I would've taken more pictures, but I was pretty hungry and I chomped mine down pretty quick. If anyone knows any better places to hit up in Daly City, let me know! Also went to Ranch 99 to grab some Thai Tea. Marc said he knew of this bakery nearby that made wafer desserts with cream inside, so we hit that place up too. The place looked super clean too, but I forgot to take pictures bleh.

Afterward, we relaxed with the good old 360.

Lawrence and Norbie joined up with us later; they got all hot and sweaty with the usual SFIV carnage.

-----------------------

By the way, the new pokemon games [damn straight I said it] are dropping on 3/14. Thas wussup na mean?! jk.

They're throwbacks to the original games, so you know you gotta check em out. Never too cool to play pokemon, you'd be surprised the amount of people MY age that play them. Someone go reserve them with me, les gooo! harhar.

Making Up for Lost Time

HI. Titus here.

I wanted to blog earlier last week, but things got crazy! Figured I'd just post everything in a gigantic entry to keep you people entertained.

So it's the end of the second week of school for me. For you guys who didn't know, I'm currently attending Skyline/College of San Mateo. I took a year at SJSU, I wasn't really feeling it so I came back home. I'm currently working towards getting an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, and afterward going to transfer to UC Davis to get a Bachelor's Degree in Managerial Economics. It's actually not a bad idea to go to a junior college and transferring to a university; don't let people put you down if you choose to attend one.

Anyway, took some pictures of CSM like last week I think.

Here are some crazy pictures from my daily commute from Westlake to CSM to Skyline.
Btw, my side mirror is still hella messed up.
Notice the picture with the fog, it's straight out of a horror movie!

Parking lot at Skyline is STILL packed to this day. It was crazy the first week. People trying to add and students from SFSU trying to get credits for their majors.

Skyline College. Looks like Sacred Heart if you ask me.

------------------------------------------

Last Thursday I finally got a haircut. The last time I got one was before christmas at Fresh Cuts at School Street in Daly City. Don't go there. Trust me. My usual taper took an hour an a half, they ignore your calls unless they know your number, I got cut really badly all over, it was uneven, charged me 20 even though this other dude said 15, and push my sides up super high. Horrible. I should get to yelping those jerks.

ANYWAY. My usual barber spot is near Invisible Stripes (which is a clothing store, infamous for their clothes being put on blast by Supreme Soul on ABDC). The dude is nice, charges fairly, and doesn't cut me when I get lined up. Ever. Place is called Fine Lines, and it's on San Jose Avenue.

You can take the underground there too, not sure which one though.

Took some before and after pictures too. I know they look funny. I hella cracked up when I uploaded them, I swear. Just look at that death stare!

Maybe it's the angle of the shots. I dunno, the cut looks better in person. Meh.

I know, my ear. Yuck!

------------------------------------------
Last Friday I saw The Book of Eli. It seemed slow at times, but I thought it was good. Religion plays a pretty big part in it though (duh). The action was intense, Denzel Washington was a freakin' badass throughout it. I'm not going to spoil too much, but it's a pretty solid movie. I think the actor that played Dumbledore from Harry Potter is in it too.

Oh, did I mention that Mila Kunis is in it? Yum.

Ignore that IGN watermark haha.

That night ended up going to Mount David to check out the view. Gorgeous, eh? The pictures aren't that great because I was using just my cyber shot.

This telescope thing on the top seemed super strange to me too.
Hope that made up for the down time!
Til next we meet.
